Chromosome FISH Kit
This kit contains an essential reagent and devices required for performing cell
chromosome FISH on interphase, metaphase and cultured cells by using Metal
Slide Tray and HybBox™. For FISH on cultured cells,
perform the same FISH procedure used for metaphase cells.
The kit includes cDenHyb Trial Set, which contains
both cDenHyb-1 (0.5 ml) and cDenHyb-2 (0.5 ml). cDenHyb
solutions are compatible with a wide range of home-brewed or commercially available
directly- and indirectly labeled DNA probes: repeat sequence, paint, and unique
sequence probes. Dilute or suspend repeat sequence or paint probes (e.g., Vysis CEP or
WCP probes) in cDenHyb-1 and unique sequence probes (e.g., Vysis
LSI probes) in cDenHyb-2. For mixed probes containing unique sequence
and repeat sequence probes, dilute both types of probes in cDenHyb-2.
Then, perform cell FISH according to the attached instruction.
With this kit, no conventional 37°C-incubator is necessary for hybridization.
Hybridization occurs effectively and spontaneously in HybBox™ as described under
HybBox page. Detailed and easy-to-follow protocol is included.
