Basic Tissue Chromosome FISH Kit With Tissue Pre-Conditioner (and Xylene)

This kit contains the essential reagents and devices required for FISH on paraffin-embedded cells or tissue sections. This kit requires Xylene to remove paraffin from paraffin-embedded tissue sections. After dewaxing, the dewaxed slides are treated with 1X Tissue Pre-Conditioner (as an unmasking reagent) for 20 -30 min in 80ºC-water bath to unmask target DNA sequences in tissue. The kit includes Complete Tissue Pre-Treatment Kit with Tissue Pre-Conditioner and tDenHyb Trial Set which contains both tDenHyb-1 (0.5 ml) and tDenHyb-2 (0.5 ml). tDenHyb solutions are compatible with a wide range of home-brewed or commercially available directly- and indirectly labeled DNA probes: repeat sequence, paint, and unique sequence probes. Dilute or suspend repeat sequence probes (e.g., Vysis CEP probes) in tDenHyb-1 and unique sequence probes (e.g., Vysis LSI probes) in tDenHyb-2. For mixed probes containing unique sequence and repeat sequence probes, dilute both types of probes in tDenHyb-2.

With this kit, no conventional 37°C-incubator is necessary for hybridization. Hybridization occurs effectively and spontaneously in HybBox™ as described under HybBox page. Detailed and easy-to-follow protocol is included.
